Recipe Overview

Rava halwa or Suji halwa sheera is the most popular recipe and Prasad on any festive occasions. It's quick, uses less ingredients, and is very tasty with aroma. It's also known as Mohanbhog, often offered to Lord Krishna with all love and devotion.

If you are on a tight schedule, busy hopping pandals, and still want to offer Prasad to Maa Durga, this instant 10-minute recipe is the perfect match.

Ingredients (Serving: 2)

  • Rava 1 cup Fortune Semolina
  • Ghee 4 tsp
  • Cardamom powder
  • Sugar 4 tsp
  • Strawberry pulp 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Dry roast the rava on low flame.
  2. Add ghee and then add the pulp.
  3. Add cardamom powder and sugar.
  4. Add the roasted rava and cook on low flame. Add water as required.
  5. Now take a heart shaped mould to get the shape. Freeze it and demould after 2 hrs.
  6. Garnish with strawberries or any fruit of your choice.

Substitution Suggestions

You can also try pineapple, sithaphal, or Mango halwa and twist the recipe as per your choice.
