Successful Conduct of Odisha State Para Swimming Championship 2025–26

Odisha State Para Swimming Championship 2025–26 Concludes Successfully in Bhubaneswar

The Odisha State Para Swimming Championship 2025–26 was successfully conducted at the Aquatic Centre, Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar, on the 25th and 26th of October 2025.

More than 140 para-athletes from across Odisha participated in the two-day event, showcasing their remarkable skill, determination, and indomitable spirit in the pool.

The championship was inaugurated by Shri Amit Kumar Nayak, Deputy Secretary, Department of Sports & Youth Services, Government of Odisha, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his address, Shri Nayak applauded the athletes’ efforts and resilience, encouraging them to continue pursuing excellence in sports.

Shri Kamala Kanta Ratha, President of the Odisha Para Sports Association, congratulated all medal winners and participants for their performances and reaffirmed the Association’s commitment to promoting and developing para sports throughout Odisha.

Athletes who performed exceptionally well in this championship will go on to represent Odisha at the XXV National Para Swimming Championships 2025–26, scheduled to be held in Hyderabad from November 15th to 18th, 2025.

The event concluded with enthusiastic participation from athletes, coaches, technical officials, and volunteers, making it a memorable celebration of inclusivity, determination, and sporting excellence.
