Player Reactions
Swastik Samal (Captain, Cuttack Panthers): I would say, it’s a huge win and honestly, the credit goes entirely to my team. Because of their effort, their determination and the way they played. They deserve all the praise. I give full credit to the whole team, whether they got the chance to play or not. This belongs to every single member. It’s truly because of them that today we lifted the trophy.
Biplab Samantray: I am very happy that we became champions. After a long time, such a tournament was held in Odisha and from the very first day, our effort was to make Cuttack the champion. By God’s grace, my own performance has also been good. It always feels great when I can contribute to the team, because the team has shown confidence in me. They picked me as the first draft pick, so I had a big responsibility to help the team win. And with God’s blessings, I was able to contribute in many crucial moments where it really mattered.
